We are happy to announce the first beta of the Camunda Modeler 3.0.0. This release achieves feature parity with the last stable version and completes our port of the application to an entirely new architecture. Once more it incorporates numerous additional improvements and bug fixes. We encourage you to try it out.
Camunda Optimize 2.4.0-alpha1 Released

We are happy to announce the Camunda Modeler 2.0 release. The new Modeler ships with major improvements to BPMN editing and another round of minimap enhancements. A brand new properties panel for DMN adds support for Camunda specific properties and allows you to inspect and edit technical DMN properties in one place. Wildfly Swarm is a way to build your Java EE application with just enough of the application server, packaged in one uber-jar
.
This is usually the way to go, when building microservices architecture, when each service is such kind of Jar, containing the server runtime inside it.
For those who want to try it out, the community extension is now available to easily include Camunda Engine and/or Web applications into Wildfly Swarm projects.
Camunda Optimize 2.1.0-alpha2 Released
We are happy to announce the release of Camunda Optimize version 2.1.0-alpha2.
This release marks the second alpha release of Camunda Optimize 2.1.0. It is also the last alpha release of Optimize 2.1.0 before we release the final version of 2.1.0 next month. The current alpha version handles authorization for users and process definitions so that only users who are authorized to access Optimize can use it and can only see the Process Definitions they are allowed to see. In addition, we added the possibility to add external reports to dashboards and added a new Progress Bar Visualization for single number reports.

The External Task concept helps to decouple your services from the Workflow Engine.

The current alpha version contains lots of new features that allow you to receive more nuanced feedback when working with Reports, e.g. when a Report exceeds a certain threshold or when a flow node exceeds a given target value. We also introduce external sharing, allowing you to share read-only variants of Reports and Dashboards with collegues who might not have an Optimize account. Camunda BPM Custom Batch 1.0.0 - New Community Extension
Have you ever tried to create your own custom batch with Camunda BPM? Well, I did, and it was very time consuming and quite complex. There isn’t really a public API for this purpose. You have to work at the entity level and take care that batch configuration is saved to the ACT_GE_BYTEARRAY database table.
That’s why I’ve decided to create the Camunda BPM Custom Batch Extension.
The goal of this extension is to provide a simple way of using the Camunda Batch functionality for your own purposes.
If you have no clue what Camunda Batch is for, it can be used to split a huge workload (e.g., like reassigning all tasks) into small asynchronous jobs. See the official Camunda docs for more details: Camunda Batch

Camunda BPM Camel 0.5.0 Released - External Task Support
The community extension Camunda BPM Camel seamlessly connects Camunda BPM and the intergration framework Apache Camel.
Next to minor changes, the new release adds support for consuming Camunda’s external tasks (introduced in Camunda 7.4.0) in the form of a Camel route endpoint. This is another level of technical decoupling and brings a lot of adventages.
